Vegetative and Green Roofing Systems

Vegetative and Green Roofing Systems offer an overall reduction of building energy cost due to the natural thermal insulation properties.  These roofing systems reduce a buildings heat-gain/loss.  The life of the underlying roofing membrane can be extended by using a variety of overburdens to shield the roof from the effects of ultraviolet radiation, temperature extremes, and mechanical damage.
