Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why is my roof leaking?

A: There could be several reasons your roof is leaking. The older the roof  the weaker it becomes.   Other possibilities can include: building movement, extreme temperature changes (which can cause splitting), clogged drains or debris, storms, other trades working on the roof, chemical spills, bullet holes, or missing edge metals.

Q: What can I do to make my roof last longer?

A: Each roof is uniquely different.  A roof maintenance program and follow through is the most important to the longevity of a roof.

Q: Can you give me a budget price per square foot?

A: We would be happy to look at your roof, do a complete survey, and provide you with our suggestions.  Providing a quote without proper inspection and evaluation would be a costly mistake.

Q: How long can I expect my new roof to last?

A: The life of a roof depends on several factors such as: how much traffic will be on the roof, will the roof be subject to extreme heat due to reflective window glass, is the roof exposed to chemical exhausts, what type of membrane and insulation is being used, and does the roof pond water?  Manufacturers will offer 10, 15, 20, 25 and even 30 year warranties depending on how the system was installed.
