Project Scope: Re-Roof and Retro-Fit

Old metal roof systems on pre-engineered building often require re-roofing or replacement.  At Shiroki we offered the customer the option of retro-fitting the existing metal roof with the installation of a TPO single ply roof system.  We tested the structure for pull-out resistance against wind up-lift and the existing metal structure passed the requirements.  We cut insulation to fill the flutes of the metal roof then mechanically attached a single layer of roof insulation of the metal roof system.  We then applied a Fully Adhered TPO roof system with a 10-year warranty.  This retro-fit roof system saves the customers on roof replacement cost, loss of factory down time during a re-roof, and makes the existing roof a sustainable product.
